Board of Directors Recruitment:

Currently, we are looking for new members to join our amazing Board of Directors.
  • Position Description
To apply or for more information, contact board@tabersafehaven.ca
"I started work at Safe Haven a couple of months ago. I went in for the interview thinking that I wouldn't accept the job, given the fact that I live in Lethbridge. But, I left that first interview feeling so excited and empowered. Their questions challenged me and helped me to identify my skills, and really showcase them. They genuinely wanted to get to know me and valued my time deeply. I was offered a position and consulted as to what I think my training should look like, and what I think my roles should be. I continue to get ongoing training webinars, workshops, and lectures that are fully paid for and encouraged. Breaks are fully paid for and self-care is a basic standard just like anything else. The staff at Safe Haven are self reflexive, and motivated by an ethics of care that goes beyond institutional pride. They care deeply about the best ways to respond to the needs of people accessing our services, as well as who works there. If you are interested in volunteer work or employment, getting in touch and seeing how you could fit is a great idea. "

Volunteer for us!

Volunteers are an integral part of our success. Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for their hard work and continued commitment!

"Great things are brought about and burdens are lightened through the efforts of many hands anxiously engaged in a good cause."

Safe Haven is always looking for ways to use your unique talents and skills in our different programs. Look out for opportunities we post, or contact us to talk about how you would like to get involved. We also offer paid SCiP internships!
