Who We Are

Our History

Taber Safe Haven Women's Shelter grew out of the Taber & District Family Crisis Intervention Society (TDFCIS). TDFCIS changed its name to Safe Haven Women's Shelter Society and still operates Safe Haven through a Board of Directors. TDFCIS was incorporated in 1996, and is a recognized non-profit organization and charity.
